Coffee Cups and Rainbows: May 16, 2026

$170.00

This singular work on paper is from my year long daily series made before using internet (sometimes unsuccessfully) from May 2025 to May 2026. It's from the last month: May 2026.

During this month I was a few months pregnant, had just sold our house, found our new house, and were doing work on the new house before moving in June. I was pleased with my dedication to finish up the year strong with the series but also glad I made it to the end of the full year, (also on a flip phone).

This series overall focuses on an intimate, archeological record of time and a daily ritual of mark. The four colors chosen to work with in May 2026 were: cobalt blue, burnt umber, titanium white and mars yellow.

Each painting serves as a reminder to pause before starting one’s day with some moments of seeing and getting into one’s body.

Dimensions: 12 x 9 inches

Medium: Acrylic on 98 lb mixed media paper

Details: Signed, dated, and titled on reverse in pencil or archival pen

Unframed (Packaged in an archival clear bag with a Certificate of Authenticity with a statement on the series in a protective sleeve) Shipped flat.

(see Wood or Metal Frame as an item under Collect if you would like to add on a framing option coordinated by the studio or a Local Frame Shop Consultation).
