Cape was created by compressing a 36x36 in painting on canvas into a roughly 10x8 in deep maple frame I had used as a mark making tool a while back. It was a great scraper on a large painting (hence its residue). I came back into this "Cape" with a final addition of an easy tone of green interior paint and some wood glue to solidify it in place.
